Schwabe’s New Shareholders Holmberg and Parker Represent New Industry Focus
PORTLAND, Or. (May 17, 2017) – Schwabe, Williamson and Wyatt announced today that Stephanie Holmberg and Wes Parker have been named shareholders at the firm. Stephanie supports Schwabe’s Real Estate and Construction industry group focus, as well as the firm’s Transportation, Ports and Maritime industry focus. Wes supports Schwabe’s Technology industry focus.

Stephanie assists clients in all aspects of their work, helping to keep their businesses securely moving forward. From drafting and negotiating contracts on the front end of a project, to effectively resolving disputes that arise down the road, Stephanie’s strong communication and negotiation skills ensure that her clients are strategically positioned for success at every stage.
As former in-house counsel to a national electric utility contractor, Stephanie has extensive knowledge of the construction industry and the unique issues project owners and contractors face. Her industry experience enables Stephanie to see matters from the client’s perspective and provide legal advice that incorporates business objectives and priorities.
Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University and is a proud graduate of the Lewis & Clark Law School.
Wes helps clients patent inventions and manage intellectual property assets. He works to understand each client’s business goals and competitive environment, and crafts their patent strategies accordingly. Wes has experience with a wide range of technologies, including electronic circuit design, semiconductor processing, wireless communication, medical devices, apparel, power tools and sporting equipment. He excels at helping clients use design patents as a valuable supplement or alternative to utility patents.
Before becoming a lawyer, Wes worked in an electrophysiology lab at Oregon Health and Science University, and as a Patent Clerk for Proteus Biomedical in Redwood City, California, where he helped develop an extensive patent portfolio related to implantable medical devices.
Wes holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering from Duke University and is a proud graduate of the University of Oregon School of Law.
